Sherydah's BodyMindEnergy Therapy is rooted in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and conventional Western medicine. I offer acupuncture, shiatsu, lifestyle medicine, and trauma healing.
Acupuncture is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and
is effective for approximately 95% of all conditions.
During sessions, I work not only on a physical level but also—if desired—on a mental and emotional level. This can include therapeutic conversations, somatic EMDR, and support for trauma, addiction, or emotional blockages. These “plus treatments” last 90 minutes instead of the standard 60 minutes.
Trauma leaves traces in the body.
My research into unexplained symptoms caused by (intergenerational) trauma forms the foundation of my therapies. Many clients have experienced lasting progress—both physically and mentally—through my method.
Lifestyle medicine is a core part of my approach. I provide personalized advice on nutrition, sleep, relaxation, exercise, and reducing harmful influences. This promotes self-awareness, vitality, and long-term health.
Sherydah's BodyMindEnergy Therapy supports, among others, with:
-
Burnout & post-COVID symptoms
-
Oncological issues (including during chemotherapy)
-

-
Sleep problems & fatigue

-
Hormonal issues (menopause, fertility)
-
High sensitivity & giftedness
-
(Unexplained) physical and emotional complaints
How does it work?
Acupuncture uses very thin needles on specific points that correspond with nerve pathways, muscles, and connective tissue. Shiatsu applies finger pressure and massage on the same points. Both methods stimulate the body’s self-healing ability, reduce pain, and bring body and mind back into balance.
My approach—a blend of TCM, Western medicine, and trauma-informed therapy—is often experienced as deep, healing, and effective.
