My practice went international!

 

We moved to Sweden, where I gave Sherydah’s BodyMindEnergy (laser)Acupuncture treatments.

But after an amazing year living in Flyinge, Sweden, we needed to come back for personal reasons.

 

And therefore I will, as from July 2026 be back in the Netherlands to continue giving treatments in Amsterdam!

Working with Acupuncture and Shiatsu requires a high level of care to ensure your safety as a patient. You also want to be confident that your private information and personal story are safe with me.

ZHONG Membership

That’s why my practice is a member of ZHONG, the largest professional association for Chinese medicine in the Netherlands.
ZHONG guarantees the highest possible quality of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners. It ensures proper execution of Acupuncture and Shiatsu, full client privacy, and strict hygiene standards.

This includes using your own towels during treatment, and sterile disposable acupuncture needles to prevent any risk of infection.
I also adhere to detailed regulations regarding record keeping, so your data will never be accidentally exposed.
Moreover, I am strictly prohibited from sharing your information or treatment details with third parties without your explicit permission.

As a ZHONG member, my expertise is regularly reviewed, and I’m required to pursue annual continuing education to maintain the highest quality of care.

KAB – Umbrella Organization for Alternative Treatments (Complaints)

The KAB is an umbrella organization representing various associations, including ZHONG.
KAB ensures that its affiliated therapists meet all the legal requirements for healthcare providers (Wkkgz) as well as the standards set by health insurers.
KAB represents its members in communications with insurers, government, and other institutions. It also has a complaints committee—which I hope you’ll never need!
But if you're unhappy with my care and we can’t resolve it together, you can contact KAB.

SCAG

SCAG is the knowledge center for complaints and disputes in complementary healthcare and oversees compliance with the Wkkgz law (Healthcare Quality, Complaints, and Disputes Act).
Of course, I’d prefer to address any concerns together with you directly, but if that’s not possible, you may also contact SCAG.
